The Villa's History

Mr W. Fussel, a budding architect from the UK was enchanted by Corfu in the late 1970s while working in Nissaki on an early tourist complex. He sought out a choice piece of land with a wonderful view and built a traditional, holiday home for his family. Such abodes were soon in demand for rental.

The family took on a local couple, Lena and Spiros, to help with the running of the Villa. Their children, Polychronis and Sia were of course always with them and have witnessed the improvements and modernisation of the villa over the years. As traditional in Corfu, they have taken over from their parents; indeed the Villa is like their own. They longingly tend the grounds and inside areas, eager to offer the best to our guests.
